Our products are made with the most natural ingredients possible. We do use a paraben-free preservative in our products which contain aloe vera juice. Water-based products must contain a preservative to inhibit bacterial and fungal growth! Every effort is made to prevent this, however as with all natural products, they have a relatively shorter shelf life than their drugstore counterparts. Please keep products away from warm, humid areas. If you do not plan to use them right away, our products will benefit from a much extended shelf life if you store them in the refrigerator.
- Aloe & Shea Body Lotion, Shea Butter Healing Hand Cream, Cooling After Shave, and Calming Cucumber Face Lotion: 8 months - 1 year
- Shea Butter Lip Balm - 1 - 2 years (very hot temperatures will cause lip balm to melt and reform, negatively affecting the texture and properties of the lip balms
- Shaving Soap: several years if left in a dry place - soap just gets better the longer it cures!
All our products are handmade completely from scratch (no premade bases here!) in small batches on the coast of Maine.
